Hi, I’m Yi Ting, an Account Management Executive for Beauty at ZALORA Malaysia!

My role revolves around managing and nurturing relationships with beauty brand partners to ensure their success on our platform. It provides me an opportunity to work with exciting beauty brands, contribute to their success, and play a crucial role in the growth and success of ZALORA's beauty category.

I’ve always had a keen interest in the e-commerce industry, and ZALORA’s position within this rapidly evolving industry has been a consistent source of motivation for me. There's always something new to learn and explore.

It also holds a special place in my heart as it marks my first job fresh out of university. I’m fortunate that the team I work with ZALORA goes beyond being mere colleagues; some have become cherished friends. The supportive and collaborative environment makes every day enjoyable and encourages personal and professional growth. 

At ZALORA, I feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new opportunities. I appreciate the fact that I can receive valuable guidance and constructive feedback from my managers, which enables me to consistently nurture my personal growth journey. Managers in ZALORA also conduct regular check-ins with team members to discuss workload, challenges, and career goals. These conversations have provided us an avenue for addressing concerns and ensuring that we feel supported.

My colleagues and mentors have also provided me with unwavering support and guidance in navigating the uncertainty in transitioning into the working world. This supportive and collaborative culture that transcends departmental boundaries not only helps us overcome obstacles but also propels us to set and achieve even greater heights in pursuit of our collective goals.

Such an arrangement is truly remarkable to me. Prior to joining ZALORA, I could have never imagined having a work-from-home setup where I spend four days working remotely!
