As a CRM Assistant, my daily tasks involve managing the scheduling of push notifications for the week. It may sound simple, but it requires meticulous attention to detail. From setting up the notifications with the right links and copies to ensuring everything is in order, there's a lot of thought that goes into it. Sometimes, it can be quite challenging, but the satisfaction that comes from successfully scheduling and sending out those pushes is unbeatable. Additionally, I also get the chance to exercise my creativity by assisting with newsletter content. Combining concepts, colors, and themes to engage our audience is something I truly enjoy.
 

When it comes to ZALORA's values, I find that "Creating WOW Moments" and being "Rationally Creative" resonate with my work the most. As a CRM Associate, my focus is on creating those WOW moments for our customers through impactful campaigns and content. However, creativity alone isn't enough. It needs to be backed by data and logic. We analyze the performance of campaigns, content, and pushes to make informed decisions on what works and what needs improvement. It's about finding that sweet spot where creativity meets effectiveness. Handling push notifications and keeping shoppers up to date with campaigns and promotions or making content that will keep them interested in the shopping journey is extremely crucial. This is where being “Rationally Creative” comes in - creativity in content and even notification captions or copies must be creative but also logical. We also can’t keep pushing things out simply because it seems “cute” and “creative”. These executions have to be backed up by data. After all, data is what helps us determine which campaigns and content are doing well. Data gets us asking “What works and what should we do from now on?”, and with this, we can tailor our content accordingly, along with a little creative flair. 
 

Now, you might be wondering what keeps me at ZALORA over the years. Well, as a fresh graduate, ZALORA was my first job, and I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity. Admittedly, I was extremely anxious to start as I was worried I wouldn’t have a single clue on what to do, or perhaps I’d keep making mistakes. But with each passing day, I’ve slowly gotten into the groove of how things work. It doesn’t stop there, of course. I learn new things everyday and even get to try mixing in new things in my work, which is why I believe being in ZALORA is a blessing.
 

Finding meaning and fulfillment in my work is a result of knowing that what we do in CRM directly impacts our customer relationships and retention. As a customer myself, it's fulfilling to be part of a team that puts customers' interests first and strives to create engaging campaigns and experiences that keep them coming back. Knowing that I contribute to making their shopping journey enjoyable and fulfilling gives me a sense of purpose.

What I appreciate most about being part of the ZALORA team is the strong sense of camaraderie and support. The work environment is incredibly team-oriented, welcoming, and supportive. I've learned so much from my colleagues, and their support has been instrumental in my growth, both professionally and personally.
