What are your interests and passions?
I have a huge passion for learning new things particularly in cooking and baking. I am always finding new recipes to try every other week and it makes me happy to see my friends and family enjoy what I make! I also love being with my 2 dogs 24/7. I think anyone from my team can agree to this haha.

What is a day in your life at ZALORA?
A day in my life here at ZALORA consists of lots of creative discussions, I work closely with influencers! I think most people think my role is to maintain good relationships with content creators but it's so much more beyond that haha. It can get very overwhelming, keeping up with deadlines with brands and campaigns, I also help in event planning and ideation :)

How do you find meaning and fulfillment in your work?
I think seeing any of the event proposals come to life and seeing other people enjoy it is really rewarding, also working alongside my team is always fulfilling for sure cause we are constantly supporting each other especially during those big campaign months.

What do you like most about being part of the team at ZALORA? 
EVERYTHING!! The PRSM team was what made my internship so fun and less stressful at times! I don't think there is a day I come into the office and I am not laughing. Everyone was so supportive all the time even though we all have so many things to do, we always try our best to help each other out as much as possible :)

How would you describe the work environment at ZALORA?
It's such a welcoming environment, it's easy to make new friends and strike up a conversation, even our pantry auntie haha she is super cute and sweet too.

How does ZALORA provide flexibility in your work?
The work life balance was really great, we were able to work from home 3 days a week so it was less tiring in terms of travelling to the office.

Has ZALORA provided you with opportunities to learn during your internship?
Yes! I got to work with so many brands and people and was able to attend so many events during my time here too. My managers guided me so well and gave me a lot of opportunities to grow, they were very open when I was interested in the social team as well, I was given many chances to help out with their content ideas and monthly shoots.

What did you learn from your time in ZALORA?
I think it was how to communicate well with others, since i always had to talk to our event guests and a lot of external vendors, i had to be able to know how to be ready to talk to strangers and have a conversation so it gave me a lot of exposure when it came to brand events, campaigns and all thing PR.

How did you find out about the internship at ZALORA?
I found it on linked in actually haha i just decided to apply.

What motivated you to apply to ZALORA? 
I definitely love fashion and clothes and I wanted to know more about this industry and the role definitely piqued my interest. It definitely seemed like it would be a fun experience and IT WAS haha no regrets.

What is a memorable experience you’ve had at ZALORA?
When me and my team went out for a team bonding dinner at Geylang Serai, it was the first time everyone got together after work so it was really memorable also the food was so good.

What advice would you give to a new intern in ZALORA?
Just come in with an open mind and be yourself! Don’t be nervous cause everyone is going to be so nice :)
